Feeling Lighter Before Her Holiday: Lymphatic Drainage & Wood Therapy

At Embody Sculpt in Clarkson, Perth, we recently welcomed a beautiful client who was preparing to travel overseas and wanted to experience our full body lymphatic drainage and wood therapy treatment before her trip.

She wanted to feel lighter and more comfortable in her body while travelling, so we combined gentle lymphatic drainage with Brazilian wood therapy to work across the entire body.

During her treatment, she began noticing a considerable difference in the areas where the wood therapy had been used. She described feeling noticeably lighter and more open through her body, particularly compared with the areas that had not yet been treated.

As we worked, we spoke about the role of fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports our muscles, organs and other structures throughout the body. Fascia can become less mobile or restricted, which may contribute to feelings of tightness and tension. Wood therapy can be used as a form of manual bodywork to work through the soft tissues and encourage greater mobility.

We then followed this with lymphatic drainage to support healthy lymphatic flow and fluid movement throughout the body. Combining both techniques created a treatment that left her feeling lighter, more comfortable and ready for her travels.

✨ Sometimes the best way to prepare for a trip isn't just packing your suitcase. It's giving your body a little extra care before you go.
